THE EDUCATED OBSERVER

MISSION
I am a survivalist. Not the version people usually picture. Most people picture something narrow, a paranoid person with a go-bag. That's not it. Survival is pliable. It applies to almost everything a person does. Money, food, attention, time, who you trust, where and if you belong, relationships, including who you really are.
Without purpose, survival has no reason. The purpose is to thrive. Thriving requires logistics and the resources necessary to give an edge, even at the entry level of this game called life.
There's a difference between a civilian and a citizen. A civilian exists inside the system, whatever it hands them. A citizen operates inside it on purpose, aware of the terms, working the angles available to them. Being a citizen instead of just a civilian is the aim.
I'm not just a writer. I'm an educator. Above all, I'm an operator. The Educated Observer exists to teach survival, in the fullest sense of the word.
You are not tolerated or respected. You are managed. Not by chance, and not by some higher power. It's designed.
Some issues state their theme directly. Others let it run underneath everything the issue covers, without saying so outright.
You notice the pattern one situation at a time, in your own life, long before anyone puts a name to it. I call it the unnamed things.
The old ways, followed without purpose or intent, aren't just outdated. They become detrimental to surviving and thriving.
This isn't a magazine that tells you what to think. It's an invitation into the rabbit hole. Every issue takes a piece of it apart: what it is, what's behind it, what you can actually do about it.
Take what's useful. Use it to position yourself toward advantage, informed and ready.
My biases and inclinations aren't the point. Everyone asks for advice they never take, so I offer my opinions anyway. I keep them out of the labeling, mostly based on experience and decades of research. Call it an educated observation.
Alexx Vazquez, founder and creator of The Educated Observer. Known far and wide from metropolitan to feral places as A.V. Maverick.

ISSUE ONE - SYSTEMS OF CONTROL

You will own nothing and be happy. The line came from the World Economic Forum, and most people laughed. Understanding the 2030 Reset traces the infrastructure built since then to make it literal: digital identity, programmable money, smart city systems, carbon accounting. Documented, sourced, assembled in one place for the first time.
Every few years cameras go to the border, politicians make speeches, and nothing changes, because nothing is broken. The Border Is Not Broken lays out exactly who benefits from that arrangement staying exactly as it is, and it isn't who either side of the argument tells you.
If the grid or the network goes down tomorrow, most people find out in real time what they actually know. This issue covers what to do about that before it happens: water, food that doesn't run out, field fuel, seed saving, medical competence when no ambulance is coming, and staying invisible when the signal you're leaving everywhere you go is the reason someone finds you.
The Financial Operator breaks down how access and opportunity actually work, for the reader who's done pretending the game is fair and wants to know how it's actually played.
Two original fiction pieces close the issue, The Earth That Still Listens and The Road Between Nations, carrying the same argument into a world where it already happened.
134 pages. First Edition.
